[PENNMUSH] .nws is smelly and ugly :(

Okay, all joking in the title aside, my news files
seem to be screwed up. I edited index.nws as follows:

& NEWS
(insert 78-col divider here)
theme   code
(insert 78-col divider here)

And left 'code.nws' alone. Then I made two theme
files, theme.nws and theme2.nws.

&theme
(insert 78-col divider here)
(insert text here)
(insert 78-col divider here)

and

&theme2
(see &theme)

So now when I start PennMUSH running and log in, and
type 'news', the nice index that I made runs together
with 'news code'. And when I type 'news theme' it
gives me theme.nws and theme2.nws smashed together
into one big block. Uhm....help?
